As the newest blog in the Matador Network, Sports is a celebration of the way people play. We’ll be focusing on the innovators, the individual athletes as well as crews and teams that inspire us whether they be in adventure or traditional sports. We’ll be following events that bring the entire world together like almost nothing else can, such as the World Cup, as well as tightly-knit local events such as the Green Race, that while not well known, exemplify the way entire communities can develop around a certain place and a certain sport.

As with everything published at Matador, our inspiration begins with the Community . If you have a particular idea for a story, you’re always welcome to contact us. As we roll out this new blog we hope to hear from you.
